Autocad draftman - Signage and cladding Riyadh based company

1. Job Purpose

The AutoCAD Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings for signage and branding projects.

The role involves converting design concepts into detailed AutoCAD drawings for production and installation, ensuring compliance with client specifications, site conditions, and project requirements.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Drawing Preparation

• Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for signage projects including:
• LED channel letters
• Wayfinding signage
• Totems and pylons
• Unipoles and billboards
• ACP cladding signage
• Interior and exterior branding
• Develop shop drawings for fabrication and installation.

Design Coordination

• Convert concept designs into technical drawings.
• Coordinate with design team, site engineers, and project managers.
• Modify drawings based on client feedback or site requirements.

Site Measurement & Layout

• Prepare drawings based on site survey measurements.
• Ensure drawings match actual site conditions.
• Prepare location plans and installation layouts.

Fabrication Support

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for the production team.
• Indicate:
• Materials
• Dimensions
• Mounting methods
• Electrical layouts for LED signage
• Coordinate with factory team to clarify technical details.

Documentation & Drawing Management

• Maintain proper drawing records and revisions.
• Ensure correct version control of drawings.
• Organize project drawing files systematically.

3. Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years experience in AutoCAD drafting
• Experience in signage, advertising, fit-out, or construction industry preferred

4. Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting)
• Ability to read architectural and technical drawings
• Understanding of signage materials and fabrication methods
• Knowledge of dimensioning and technical detailing
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under tight project deadlines

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accuracy of drawings
• Timely completion of drawings
• Coordination with project and fabrication teams
• Reduction of drawing errors and revisions
• Compliance with project specifications

6. Software Skills

• AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• Adobe Illustrator / CorelDraw (Preferred for signage design)
• Basic knowledge of 3D software (SketchUp / 3ds Max – optional)

7. Working Conditions

• Office-based technical work
• Occasional site visits for measurements
• Coordination with production and installation teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD250.000 - BD300.000 per month

Work Location: In person
