AutoCAD Draftsman

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team in the wood manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing technical drawings and shop drawings for wood products such as furniture, cabinetry, millwork, and custom wood components. This role requires accuracy, creativity, and a solid understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and layouts for wood products, including furniture, cabinetry, panels, partitions, and custom millwork.
• Create technical and shop drawings based on design concepts, client specifications, and architectural plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and project managers to ensure drawings are accurate and feasible for manufacturing.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback, changes, and site measurements.
• Maintain drawing files and records in an organized and efficient manner.
• Assist in material take-offs, cutting lists, and CNC file generation (if applicable).
• Ensure that all drawings meet industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with CNC operators and production team to clarify design details and resolve any technical issues.
