AutoCAD Draftsman

The Draftsman will be responsible for producing accurate, detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for advertising and display projects using AutoCAD. This role bridges the gap between creative design and production, ensuring concepts are translated into technically sound drawings that guide fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for signage, display systems, and advertising installations.
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to understand design intent and translate concepts into build-ready CAD drawings.
• Ensure drawings are precise, meet project specifications, and adhere to safety and structural guidelines.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from design and production teams.
• Maintain organized records of all project drawings and revisions.
• Coordinate with external vendors or fabrication teams as needed to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D a strong plus).
• Previous experience as a Draftsman in the advertising, signage, events, or exhibition industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and construction methods used in display and advertising builds.
• Ability to read and interpret creative briefs, sketches, and concept designs.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or certification in Drafting, Industrial Design, or a related field.
