AutoCAD Draftsman (Structural)

URGENT HIRING – AUTOCAD DRAFTSMAN (STRUCTURAL)

We are currently looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman (Structural) to join our team immediately.

The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in structural drafting, detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and coordination with engineering and site teams. Applicants must be highly skilled in preparing accurate and professional structural drawings based on project requirements and UAE standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of proven work experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in the structural field
• Strong knowledge of structural steel drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Ability to prepare detailed technical drawings based on engineer instructions and project specifications
• Experience in revising drawings based on site conditions and client comments
• Good understanding of construction standards and structural design requirements
• Ability to coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and fabrication departments
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate structural shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings
• Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for steel structures, supports, platforms, staircases, handrails, and other structural components
• Review engineering designs and convert them into technical drafting documents
• Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure drawings meet project specifications
• Modify and revise drawings as per client requirements, consultant comments, and site conditions
• Maintain drawing registers and document control for all revisions and submissions
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, safety regulations, and company requirements
• Support site teams by providing updated drawings and technical clarifications
• Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure proper execution of drawings
• Assist in project documentation and reporting related to drafting work
