Job Description: Autocad Draughtsman – 3D

We are looking for Goregaon (E) Mumbai, a professional and active AutoCAD designer with excellent speed to assist our engineering team for various products/items.

Candidates’ tasks will include preparation of 3D and 2D drawings with proper detailing for Mechanical Equipment, Steel Structural, Parts, P&IDs, Complete Assemblies, Components, Exploded Views, BOM, Datasheets, Fabrication/Manufacturing Drawings, Electrical Connection Diagrams, etc. Drawings and Manuals for Assembly, Installation and Maintenance. Following and complying with quality plans/manuals, as per industry standards. Preparation of Datasheets and Quality related documentation. All documentation as may be required, site/vendor visit, client servicing and communication shall also be a part of the profile, which is why Good command over English language is required.

This position is for a full-time position, preferably on consultancy basis, but has the potential to be moved over to our payrolls over time based on performance, behavior, attitude and other criteria. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of CAD software and engineering.

Typical duties and responsibilities:

· Predominantly 3D drawings need to be made, which are required to be converted in 2D.

· Preparation of Drawings in 2D

· Use CAD software to create drawings, detailing, etc. as may be required & mentioned above.

· Collaborate / Interact with Clients, Consultants, Engineers and others as may be required .

· Presenting and or converting the ACAD 2D/3D in different formats / software; as may be required.

· Drawings / Documents shall be made to industry standards or better.

· Preparing Drawings/Sketches/etc. for representation in Catalogues, Brochures, etc.

· Any other Duties as may be assigned from time to time

Required skills and qualities:

· Should be well versant with 3D & 2D software’s CAD Designing software’s and should be very fast in drawing with quality and detailing

· Should be able to work on Word, Excel, PDF, Power point, outlook, and any other such software.

· Good English (both spoken and written) is a pre-requisite and a must

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong collaborative and interpersonal ability

· Expertise in time management and the ability to meet deadlines

· Ability to understand technical drawings and plans

· Good math and computer skills

· Keen attention to minute/small details

Preferred qualifications, Education and experience:

· Diploma / Certificate / Degree in ACAD training preferably with engineering or related field

· Schooling should be in English medium

· 5+ years of experience

· Familiar with AutoCAD 3D Inventor/ Solid Works / AutoCAD 2D / Adobe / Word / Excel / Power Point and other such related software required for day to day work

· Ability to self-manage & work independently.
