Position: AutoCAD Draughtsman – Interior DesignDepartment: Design & DraftingReports To: Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager

Role Overview

The AutoCAD Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings for interior design projects, ensuring that the design intent is translated into precise construction drawings. The role involves close coordination with interior designers, architects, contractors, and vendors to deliver drawings that support the execution of residential, commercial, or retail interiors.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings, working drawings, shop drawings, and detailed joinery/furniture drawings for interior design projects.

· Develop layout plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings based on design concepts and site requirements.

· Ensure drawings comply with design standards, specifications, and building codes.

· Coordinate with the design team to incorporate feedback and revisions.

· Prepare as-built drawings after site verification.

· Maintain organized drawing documentation and filing systems.

· Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to resolve drawing-related issues.

· Support the design team in developing presentation drawings when required.

Skills & Competencies

· Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & basic 3D); knowledge of SketchUp with Vray and D5 renderer will be an advantage.

· Strong understanding of interior design detailing, joinery, and material specifications.

· Ability to produce precise, clear, and accurate technical drawings.

· Good knowledge of construction methods and interior fit-out works.

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team under deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

· Diploma / certificate from reputed CADD centre or Diploma in civil engineering with focus on cad drawings

· 3–4 years of experience as a Draughtsman in interior design projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
