AutoCAD Draughtsman – Joinery & Interior Fitout

Epic Fitout is looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draughtsman with hands-on experience in joinery and interior fitout detailing. The ideal candidate will prepare precise production drawings, BOQs, and quantity take-offs, ensuring designs align with both production and site execution requirements. Experience in 3D visualization software is considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities1. Drawing & Drafting

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery details, and production drawings for furniture, wall panels, counters, and custom interior elements.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure drawings are practical and aligned with fabrication standards.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, version control, and documentation.

2. Coordination & Site Support

• Liaise with project engineers, production team, and site supervisors for drawing clarifications and material confirmations.
• Attend site visits when required for measurement verification and coordination.
• Support the project team with technical queries related to design and material specifications.

3. BOQ & Quantity Take-Off

• Prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs based on approved drawings.
• Verify material quantities and ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Assist in cost estimation support where required.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and relevant industry codes.
• Maintain accuracy, clarity, and completeness in all submitted drawings and BOQs.
• Ensure coordination between architectural, MEP, and joinery details where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in joinery and interior fitout projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of 3D software such as SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit (added advantage).
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, fabrication techniques, and production processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
