Key responsibilities

Create technical drawings: Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details for interior spaces.

Translate design concepts: Convert initial design ideas into precise technical documents that are clear and accurate.

Utilize CAD software: Use software like AutoCAD to create both 2D and 3D drawings, plans, and schematics.

Collaborate with professionals: Work closely with interior designers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure the design is feasible and correctly implemented.

Ensure accuracy: Double-check measurements, materials, and construction details in the drawings.

Required qualifications and skills

Education: A diploma or associate degree in drafting technology or interior design is typically required.

Technical proficiency: Expertise in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, is essential.
