AutoCAD Engineer for Steel Fabrication company

Job Description:

As a Fabrication CAD Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and production department. Your primary responsibility will be to create accurate Bills of Quantity (BOQs) from received drawings for quotation purposes.

Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

Technical Drawings and Documentation:

• Prepare shop drawings
• Prepare material submittals

Production Oversight:

• Monitor production processes and operations.
• Generate regular progress reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering or Equivalent.
• Proven experience in Steel Fabrication Industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Preparing 2D and 3D Drawings.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of Steel members (e.g., flat bars, angles, pipes, channels, H-beams, I-beams) and their applications in structural design.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in reading and preparing BOQ as per the drawings
• Knowledge of SolidWorks CAD is an advantage.

Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
