Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD / Structural Draftsman to join our team in Al Quoz, Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing structural drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication layouts for steel and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting & Design

• Prepare 2D and basic 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop structural drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings based on project requirements.
• Produce detailed technical layouts for steel fabrication and installation.

Coordination

• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Assist in resolving drawing discrepancies and technical issues.

Drawing Management

• Review drawings and implement necessary revisions or updates.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and client requirements.

Documentation & Quantity Support

• Prepare BOQs and material take-offs when required.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.

RequirementsEducation

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting or structural steel detailing.
• Experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, or construction projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures or other structural detailing software is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and engineering drawings accurately.

Other Skills

• Good technical coordination and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawing revisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
