Autodesk Inventor Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Autodesk Inventor Design Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and drafting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor, supporting engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor
• Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and part lists
• Modify and optimize existing designs based on engineering inputs and site feedback
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
• Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams for design clarifications
• Perform basic design calculations and support engineering documentation
• Maintain proper revision control and documentation
• Support design reviews and incorporate comments effectively

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor
• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, fabrication, and manufacturing processes
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and detailed fabrication drawings
• Familiarity with GD&T, tolerances, and material standards
• Good understanding of BOM management and drawing standards
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (added advantage)
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Education:

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
