Job Overview:

The Law Offices of Public Defender Sara Mollo is hiring an Automated Systems Assistant I. As a Tier 1 Technician, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. You will troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for end-users. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for technology and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide front-line support to customers via phone, email, or chat.

· Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues.

· Assist customers with system setup, configuration, and software installation.

· Document all customer interactions and technical resolutions in the support ticketing system.

· Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical teams (Tier 2/Tier 3) as needed.

· Perform remote troubleshooting and resolve issues through diagnostic tools.

· Educate customers on product functionality, basic usage, and best practices.

· Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear communication and prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

· Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

· Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft software applications, and multiple LoB applications.

· Familiarity with common IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, routers).

· Experience with helpdesk software or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk) is a plus.

· Ability to follow troubleshooting procedures and document resolutions accurately.

· Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

· Willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment.

· Prior customer service experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, etc.) are a plus, but not required.

· Experience with remote support tools (Team Screenshare, Remote Desktop, SCCM, etc.).

· Knowledge of networking basics (IP addressing, DNS, VPN, etc.).

Salary: $50,000 to $55,000 per year depending on experience
