Our client partners with the U.S. Government to deliver innovative engineering solutions that support national defense. They are seeking Automated Test Engineers to help design and implement automated testing solutions for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems and other mission-critical platforms. This is your opportunity to play a key role in testing and validating complex software systems that directly support national security missions.
As an Automated Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
Designing, developing, and executing automated test plans and test cases
Validating system functionality and ensuring software meets specified requirements
Working across test phases including unit, integration, validation, and performance testing
Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects
Automating test procedures and creating test reports
Supporting CI/CD pipelines and using Git-based version control systems
You’ll work on complex systems that may include:
High-performance analytics and real-time systems
Advanced algorithm development
Massive data manipulation and distributed systems
Business management tools, data repositories, and monitoring platforms
Strong experience with Linux CLI
Scripting with Bash and Python
Familiarity with test automation tools such as:
Postman, Selenium, GIT, JUnit, Cypress, Parasoft Selenic, Katalon, TestIM, Functionize, Perfecto, TestCraft, Squish, AutonomIQ
Hands-on experience with:
Creating test plans and test strategies
Automating functional and performance testing
Generating comprehensive test documentation and reports
Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and Git for source control
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible
Deep familiarity with Git workflows and source control practices
8+ years of experience as a Test Engineer
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Engineering Management (relevant experience may be substituted)
Salary: $200,000/year + Bonus
