Automation & Control Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation & Control Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, programming, and maintaining automation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing control systems, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring system reliability across industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems for industrial applications.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems.
• Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements for efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and production teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system manuals.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
• Diagnose faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation and control engineering.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
• Experience with SCADA and HMI systems.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Good understanding of electrical drawings, control panels, and instrumentation systems.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, oil & gas, or utilities.
• Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Exposure to robotics and IoT-based automation systems.
• Project management and commissioning experience.
