We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team who would be responsible for designing and programming electrical controls for our automation projects. The successful candidate will be part of a team that will ensure customer and internal requirements are met for each project.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical control system for projects, including hardware selection and safety related system design.
• Create electrical drawings and manage the building of control panels from the drawings.
• Develop PLC and HMI programs to operate equipment according to specifications.
• Program FANUC industrial robots, including vision programming.
• Design and integrate motion control systems including servo and stepper motors.
• Program vision inspection systems (Mostly Keyence).
• Integrate a wide variety of hardware including resonance inspection systems, eddy current inspection systems, laser markers, measurement systems, and any other equipment required for the application.
• Troubleshoot and start up equipment.
• Work with internal team and customers for design reviews.
• Assist with customer run-offs and installation of equipment.
• Provide remote and in-person service and support for all projects after installation.
• Provide customer training and develop manuals and training materials.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work with and contribute to a team of engineers.
• Must be creative, excel at problem solving, and be detail oriented.
• Ability to observe all safety regulations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and have the ability to work out how to integrate new technology.
• Strong programming skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
