Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer for our operations in Oman

Job Description:

1. Independently execute assigned projects.

2. Perform maintenance on assets as per company's Maintenance plans.

3. Prepare techno commercial proposals from sales leads.

4. Prepare project documentation.

5. Effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders and align tasks as per management strategy.

6. Attend to service calls from customers.

7. Generate service and maintenance reports after maintenance tasks.

Key skills:

1. Proficient in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA design.

2. Hands on experience in at least Siemens, Rockwell, GE & Schneider platforms.

3. Hands on experience and clear understanding of various industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet I/P, Profinet, EtherCAT etc

4. Expert in creating quality documentation and proficient in use of MS office (excel, word, PPT, visio etc)

5. Experienced in understanding complex electrical schematics, troubleshooting and maintenance of LV panels, field instruments of process Industry.

6. Clear understanding and experience of maintenance of equipments such as VFDs, UPS, DG, MCC panels.

7. Good understanding of ELV systems such as CCTV & access controls.

8. Experienced in basic IT networking and troubleshooting.

9. Tech savvy and highly adaptable to new technologies.

Experience: 5-7 Years

GCC driving license would be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RO500.000 - RO650.000 per month
