Electrical Engineer / Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and commission automation systems (KNX, smart home systems, etc.)
• Handle electrical system design and implementation
• Supervise installation and ensure quality standards
• Troubleshoot and maintain automation and electrical systems
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for lighting and electrical projects.
• Formulate detailed quotations for lighting installations and electrical systems.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation for project approvals, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards.
• Create rendered images and visualizations using architectural software and Photoshop to communicate design concepts.
• Design lighting layouts and collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for creating and modifying lighting and electrical design drawings, including schematics and layouts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in automation/electrical projects
• Experience with KNX systems (ETS knowledge is a plus)
• Knowledge of smart home technologies (Zigbee, Tuya, etc.)
• Good understanding of lighting control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• KNX Certification
• Experience in villas and commercial projects
• UAE experience is a plus

Experience:

• Home automation: 2 years (Required)
