Automation Engineer-Electrical

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer - Electrical with experience in installation and testing of RTUs in 11KV Distribution Substations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in testing and commissioning, preferably with DEWA projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission RTUs in 11KV substations.
• Ensure SCADA system integration per utility standards.
• Conduct functional and operational testing of automation systems.
• Troubleshoot RTUs and electrical automation issues.
• Coordinate with DEWA and stakeholders for compliance.
• Maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Automation Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in RTU testing & commissioning (preferably DEWA projects).
• Knowledge of SCADA, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with DEWA regulations and protection relays.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to workindependently in field environments.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience in utility distribution network automation.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
