Now Hiring – Automation Engineer | Qatar

Location: Mesaieed, Qatar
Contract Duration: 5 Years
Working Schedule: 5 Days per Week

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering activities related to Industrial Control Systems within a leading petrochemical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot DCS, SIS, and ESD systems
• Support preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities
• Execute automation upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities
• Support industrial cybersecurity compliance and ICS maintenance
• Maintain compressor control and protection systems
• Analyze system failures and provide technical solutions
• Coordinate with vendors and support spare parts management
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PTW requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 10 years of automation maintenance experience
• Experience in Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Oil & Gas, or Process Industries
• Strong knowledge of DCS, SIS, ESD, and Industrial Control Systems
• Knowledge of Industrial Cyber Security and networking
• Excellent troubleshooting and commissioning experience
• Good English communication skills
