Automation Machine Builder

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly mechanically inclined individual who is comfortable working with tools, mechanical assemblies, and hands-on problem solving. The ideal candidate has strong practical experience building, repairing, or fabricating mechanical systems and can confidently work from blueprints or verbal instructions.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble full automation assemblies and mechanical subassemblies from 3d models, verbal instructions, or drawings.
• Collaborate with design engineers on solving fitment and assembly issues.
• Manage mechanical components and inventory for assigned projects
• Perform final inspections of complex mechanical assemblies
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency within project work areas
• Willingness to learn 3d modeling software (solid works)

Qualifications

• Professional work experience is not required, but candidates must have hands-on experience building, repairing, or assembling mechanical systems through personal projects, school programs, hobbies, or previous employment.
• Extensive experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems using logic and reasoning
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• No Degree required.

Preferred (but not required):

• Familiarity or has done other manufacturing processes (machining, welding, laser cutting)
• General computer proficiency

• Prefer desk-based work
• Have limited experience with tools or mechanical assembly
