Junior Automation Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a high-energy, technically curious Junior Automation Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is a unique hybrid of traditional machine maintenance and forward-thinking automation design. You won't just be fixing what’s broken; you’ll be helping us design and implement the next generation of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) and robotic cells.

Key Responsibilities1. CNC & Machine Maintenance

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on multi-axis CNC machines (Lathes, Milling, VMCs).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures.
• Calibrate machine precision and ensure high uptime for production lines.

2. SPM Design & Implementation

• Collaborate with the senior engineering team to design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) tailored to specific production needs.
• Assist in creating 2D/3D layouts and selecting appropriate actuators, sensors, and controllers.
• Participate in the assembly, wiring, and commissioning of new SPM units on the shop floor.

3. Robotic Automation

• Support the integration of industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, or KUKA) into existing workflows.
• Assist in programming basic robotic paths and troubleshooting "Handshake" signals between robots and CNC machines.
• Maintain end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and vision system sensors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per year
