Job Title: SQA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive SQA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in writing automated test cases, validating API flows, and working closely with development and product teams to maintain a high standard of delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Write, maintain, and improve automated test cases using RSpec or similar testing frameworks
• Perform API testing, ensuring accurate validation of request/response flows and error handling
• Analyze business logic deeply to identify hidden or complex edge cases
• Understand basic development concepts to read and interpret code behavior when required
• Conduct integration testing across multiple systems and ensure smooth data flow
• Create clear, well-documented test scenarios, test plans, and acceptance criteria
• Proactively identify potential failures and risks before they reach production
• Perform strong debugging and root-cause analysis to support teams in resolving issues
• Work comfortably with relational databases to validate data records and query results
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams for quick iterations and feedback cycles
• Ensure end-to-end workflow quality with a strong understanding of user journeys
• Maintain a high focus on stability, performance, and minimizing regression risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar role
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and API testing frameworks
• Good understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA best practices
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
