Automation Specialist (AI Automations – ChatGPT & Digital Campaigns)

**Salary:** £250-300 GBP/month

**Working Hours:** 9:00am – 5:00pm UK time (Monday to Friday)

**Time Tracking:** Mandatory via Hubstaff (activity level monitoring required)

About the Role

We are looking for a resourceful and tech-savvy Automation Specialist to support the delivery of client work and internal operations using AI-driven automations, particularly via ChatGPT and related tools.

You will play a hands-on role in building AI Automations that support digital marketing campaign setup, optimisation, and reporting, as well as automating client deliverables like summaries, reports, and emails. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, logical, and excited to apply AI in real-world business contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage ChatGPT-based workflows to automate internal tasks and client-facing deliverables
• Create automations to support campaign setup (e.g., generating ad copy, keyword suggestions, or account checklists)
• Develop tools for ongoing campaign optimisation (e.g., surfacing low-performing ads or creating summary reports)
• Automate client deliverables (e.g., weekly summaries, monthly reports, email updates)
• Integrate with tools such as Google Ads, email, and CRMs where relevant
• Assist in developing and refining custom GPTs for specific use cases
• Identify repetitive tasks within teams and implement scalable automation solutions
• Document processes clearly and maintain internal guides
• Stay informed about new features and best practices for ChatGPT, automation tools, and campaign platforms

Essential Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of ChatGPT’s API Platform, ChatGPT UI and OpenAI custom GPTs
• Experience with automation platforms like Zapier, Make (Integromat), or similar
• Familiarity with digital marketing workflows, particularly campaign setup and reporting
• Knowledge of APIs and scripting
• Excellent written English and ability to format clear, high-quality output
• Fast learner with the ability to self-manage and problem-solve
• Own laptop or desktop and stable internet connection
• Comfortable working 9–5 UK hours and using Hubstaff for time and activity tracking

Preferred (but not essential)

• Exposure to Google Ads, Meta Ads or other paid media platforms
• Experience automating reporting
