Automation Technician

• Technician-level professional (not engineer) with practical site experience
• Background in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics (Diploma or ITI)
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial, utilities, or MEP projects
• Experience working on-site (not office-based role)

• Skilled in control panel wiring and modifications
• Experience in cable pulling, glanding, and termination
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and layouts
• Familiar with PLC panels (e.g., Siemens , Schneider Electric , Rockwell Automation ) – hardware only

• Hands-on experience with:
• Pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments
• Control valves and actuators
• Ability to:
• Install and connect instruments properly
• Perform basic calibration and loop checks
• Read P&IDs and loop diagrams

• Capable of performing:
• Loop checking and I/O verification
• Continuity and insulation testing
• Basic fault finding and component replacement
• Familiar with tools like multimeter, megger, and loop calibrator

• Practical, detail-oriented, and disciplined
• Able to follow instructions from engineers and supervisors
• Strong safety awareness on site
• Willing to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team player with basic communication skills (English required)
