Automation Technician for Garments

Installation & Commissioning

• Install and configure automated garment and sewing machines (e.g., computerized sewing machines, auto-cutting, pattern sewing, bartack, pocket welting, fusing machines).
• Set up sensors, controllers, PLC modules, servo motors, and pneumatic systems.
• Calibrate machines for accuracy, speed, and performance.

2. Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software-related faults.
• Replace and repair components such as circuit boards, sensors, solenoids, stepper/servo motors, and control panels.

3. Automation & Process Optimization

• Assist in upgrading manual processes to semi/fully automated systems.
• Adjust machine parameters to improve productivity, efficiency, and stitch quality.
• Support integration of IoT/Industry 4.0 monitoring systems.

4. Technical Support

• Train machine operators and mechanics on correct machine usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Provide technical expertise during production runs and style changes.
• Maintain accurate machine documentation, service logs, and reports.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure machines meet factory safety standards and electrical compliance.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs.
• Report hazards and implement corrective actions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
