BNC has been mandated to recruit an Automation Tester for one of our US client based in Gurugram .

Job Title: Automation Tester

Role Overview

We are hiring an Automation Tester with experience in creating test scripts, performing automated testing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. The ideal candidate should be strong in testing frameworks, tools, and automation logic.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Strategy

● Develop and maintain automation test plans and scripts.

● Identify test scenarios and prepare test cases for automation.

2. Automation Execution

● Execute automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.

● Conduct regression, performance, and functional testing.

3. Bug Tracking & Reporting

● Identify defects, log issues, and coordinate with developers for resolution.

● Provide detailed test reports and documentation.

4. Continuous Improvement

● Enhance test coverage and optimize automation frameworks.

● Participate in code reviews and QA process improvements.

5. Collaboration

● Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure quality at each stage.

● Align testing activities with project timelines and releases.

Required Skills

● Strong experience in test automation tools (Selenium / Cypress / Appium).

● Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python for writing test scripts.

● Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

● Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or Newman.

● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

● Immediate Joiners are preferred.
