Automation Tester – Web & Mobile (E-commerce)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester who can independently design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for both web and mobile (iOS & Android) platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our e-commerce platform by implementing automated testing solutions that scale with our development cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Playwright.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA to understand testing needs.
• Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing as needed.
• Identify bugs and performance issues, and communicate findings to the team.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results effectively.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in writing automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Postman, and automated API testing tools.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
