Automotive 12v and EVT tech upfitting position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive 12 volt Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive aftermarket lighting and up-fitting, with a focus on attention to detail. This role requires expertise in vehicle electrical systems and the ability to work on various different types of vehicles. If you are passionate about the automotive up-fitting industry and possess the necessary skills, we invite you to apply. $3000 sign on bonus for the right person who is familiar with this work and has an EVT cert. Don't have an EVT cert yet but understand 12v wiring? We will work with you to get the cert.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive automotive aftermarket lighting installations. This will be Amber lighting along with Red and Blue lighting.
• Execute automotive Up-fits on various vehicles, including , electrical, tool boxes, ladder racks, radios, police consoles, lighting, partitions, etc.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with the shop manager regarding the vehicle needs and ideas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and quality of service.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and up-fit techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or up-fittter is preferred.
• Strong skills in automotive electrical systems.
• Familiarity with GM and Ford vehicles is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain effective communication with shop manager and team members.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications such as ASE's and EVT's are a big plus.
