Automotive A-Tech (Master/Senior Technician)

Position Overview We’re looking for a skilled A-Tech (senior/master-level technician) to join our tight-knit crew. You’ll handle advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles (domestic, import, some hybrids/EVs), while helping keep our shop running smoothly. In a smaller shop like ours, you’ll get variety in your work, direct input on how we do things, and the satisfaction of seeing customers drive away happy—often with a thank-you in person.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose tough drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues using scan tools, scopes, and experience
• Perform major repairs (engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, etc.) to high standards
• Inspect vehicles thoroughly, test drive, and verify every repair
• Follow manufacturer specs while communicating clearly with the service writer and customers
• Help guide less experienced techs when needed (we grow our own team)
• Keep your bay clean, tools organized, and the shop safe
• Document work accurately so we stay on the same page as a team

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of solid hands-on automotive repair experience
• ASE Master certification (A1–A8, L1 a big plus) or equivalent proven skills
• Inspection and emissions license
• Strong diagnostic abilities on modern vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Your own basic tool set (we provide specialty tools and lifts)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a small-team environment
• Positive attitude and pride in craftsmanship

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
