Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Accounting / Title Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing vehicle titles and registrations, handling accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with state and dealership procedures. Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles, registrations, and tag work accurately and timely
• Verify legal transfer of ownership documents
• Submit title paperwork to appropriate state agencies
• Maintain title and vehicle inventory records
• Post deals and accounting transactions into dealership management systems
• Reconcile schedules and accounts
• Process payoffs and maintain lien release documentation
• Prepare daily deposits and assist with accounts payable/receivable functions
• Audit deals for completeness and compliance
• Communicate with customers, lenders, and state agencies regarding title issues
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information
• Support office and accounting team with additional administrative duties as needed

Experience

• Previous automotive dealership accounting or title clerk experience preferred
• Knowledge of DMV/title processing procedures
• Familiarity with dealership management software is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
