Responsibilities

• Perform wheel alignments on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring precise adjustments according to manufacturer specifications
• Use specialized alignment equipment and schematics to diagnose and correct suspension and steering issues
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify underlying problems affecting vehicle alignment and handling
• Repair or replace suspension components, steering systems, and related parts as needed to achieve proper alignment
• Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks, including tire rotations, balancing, and basic mechanical repairs
• Interpret automotive electrical systems and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues involving ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and other electronic components
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including auto estimating for repairs and services provided

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on automotive repair and alignment services
• Strong mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment
• Ability to read schematics accurately and apply diagnostics effectively using automotive diagnostics tools
• Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and the integration of advanced driver-assistance features
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
• Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
