Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive and Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive and heavy equipment using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and electronic testing tools.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, air brake systems, and electrical components.
• Fabricate parts or modifications as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair requirements.
• Service a variety of machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, industrial equipment, and power tools.
• Operate heavy equipment safely during repairs, or testing procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for precise troubleshooting and repair procedures.

Skills

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with automotive diagnostics and heavy equipment repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicles and industrial machinery.
• Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; capable of assembly and equipment repair.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and electrical testing devices.
• Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex systems involving hydraulics, electrical wiring, transmissions, and suspension components.
• Experience working with OEM parts and understanding manufacturer specifications for repairs.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely during maintenance tasks; comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
