Location: On-Site Only
Compensation: $85,000 Base Salary + Up to $2,000 Monthly Performance Bonus
Total Compensation Potential: $109,000+ Annually

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-level Automotive BDC Director to oversee a rapidly growing operation consisting of:

  • 35+ BDC Agents
  • 14+ Automotive Dealership Accounts
  • Inbound and Outbound Sales Operations
  • Internet Lead Management
  • AI and Digital Communication Platforms
  • Multi-Store Performance Management

This is a leadership role for a proven operator who has successfully managed large automotive BDC teams and can provide verifiable results and references.

This is not a 40-hour-per-week position.

We are looking for someone who understands what it takes to build people, drive performance, solve problems, recruit talent, hold accountability, and lead from the front.

If you are looking for a clock-in/clock-out management position, this role is not for you.

ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Accountability

  • Direct oversight of 35+ BDC representatives
  • Manage team leaders and supervisory staff
  • Hold daily accountability meetings
  • Develop performance improvement plans
  • Conduct difficult coaching conversations
  • Build a culture of ownership and accountability

Recruiting & Staffing

  • Recruit continuously
  • Maintain proper staffing levels across all accounts
  • Interview, hire, train, and onboard new employees
  • Reduce turnover through strong leadership and development

Performance Management

  • Monitor all dealership KPIs
  • Improve appointment set rates
  • Improve appointment show rates
  • Improve sold rates
  • Increase outbound activity
  • Drive lead response time improvements
  • Monitor call quality and customer experience

Coaching & Training

  • Review call recordings daily
  • Conduct individual coaching sessions
  • Train objection handling
  • Develop appointment-setting skills
  • Improve follow-up processes
  • Create accountability scorecards

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track all department KPIs
  • Present weekly performance updates
  • Identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop action plans for underperforming stores and agents

Required ExperienceNon-Negotiable Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years Automotive BDC Management experience
  • Experience managing large BDC teams
  • Multi-store automotive experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of dealership CRM systems
  • Proven history of improving appointment, show, and sold performance
  • Strong recruiting and staffing background
  • Experience reviewing and coaching phone calls
  • Ability to manage managers and team leads
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
