Automotive Control Systems Engineer

AVL Research and Engineering Turkey is a member of the AVL Group with more than 11.000 employees working worldwide on the development of vehicle powertrains, controls, software, instrumentation and test systems. We are looking for a highly qualified and talented Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join our team in our R&D Centers in Istanbul.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Control Engineering, and preferably Master’s

• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English

• Minimum 1 years of experience in automotive controls

• Fast learner, treats change as an opportunity to learn and develop

• Good communication, presentation and planning skills

• Willingness to frequent and long-term travel abroad

And a good understanding of at least two of the following topics:

• CANape/CANalyzer, LogiCAD, Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram

• Vehicle Electronic Systems

• Measurement systems and sensors

• Vehicle communications (e.g. CAN bus)

• Hybrid & Electric Vehicles,

• Automotive Powertrains (Engine, Transmissions, Batteries, Electric Machines and Power Electronics)

• MATLAB/Simulink, INCA etc.
