Automotive Diagnostic and Repair Technician

Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle service and repair. In this role, you'll leverage your mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills to ensure vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Whether working on routine maintenance or complex repairs, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrains, electrical systems, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics, automotive diagnostic tools, and advanced testing equipment to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition.
  • Repair and replace mechanical components including engines, transmissions, powertrain parts, and electrical systems with precision and attention to detail.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Diagnose and repair ADAS features like lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and parking assist systems to enhance vehicle safety.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical problems effectively.
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and timelines.

Experience

  • Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
  • Hands-on experience working with Jeep/Ram/Chrysler/Dodge vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and electronic testing procedures.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance best practices.
  • Experience working with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, wheel alignment procedures, and welding techniques is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience. Pay: $22.71 - $50.79 per hour
