Automotive Electrician

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our team and support a wide range of electrical tasks across our vehicle platforms. The ideal candidate will handle installation, repair, and maintenance of automotive electrical systems, along with building and assembling wiring harnesses based on engineering designs. This role requires hands‑on technical ability, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair automotive electrical systems, including lighting, sensors, switches, relays, and control modules.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools and wiring diagrams.
- Fabricate and assemble wiring harnesses according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform electrical routing, termination, crimping, soldering, and connector assembly.
- Conduct functional testing of electrical components and harnesses before installation.
- Support vehicle builds, prototype development, and system integration activities.
- Document electrical work, repairs, and modifications accurately.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certification as an Automotive Electrician or equivalent trade qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Auto Electrician or Automotive Technician.
- Experience with wiring harness fabrication is preferred.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeter , crimping tools, and soldering equipment.
- Knowledge of connectors, terminals, relays, fuses, and electrical protection devices.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
