ROLE PURPOSE

As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in vehicles within ROX UAE Service Center. You will play a key technical role in supporting service operations by identifying electrical faults, performing accurate repairs, ensuring vehicle safety, and maintaining premium automotive service standards within a dynamic service center environment in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repair electrical system issues.
• Use diagnostic tools accurately.
• Diagnose vehicle electrical faults.
• Test electrical systems after repair.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Maintain high repair quality standards.
• Follow job cards and repair instructions.
• Inspect wiring and electrical components.
• Report technical issues or delays immediately.
• Handle vehicles, tools, and equipment responsibly.
• Install, repair, and maintain vehicle electrical parts when required.
• Check batteries, alternators, starters, fuses, sensors, lights, and wiring systems.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, fault tracing, testing, and repair work accurately.
• Support diagnosis of vehicle electronic systems, control units, warning lights, and related faults.
• Identify recurring electrical issues, repair gaps, safety concerns, technical risks, and parts requirements.
• Ensure all electrical repairs, inspections, installations, and maintenance tasks are completed properly and on time.
• Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, team leaders, quality control, and workshop management when required.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams, technical manuals, diagnostic reports, job cards, and manufacturer guidelines when required.
• Ensure proper use of diagnostic equipment, electrical tools, meters, scanners, workshop tools, and company resources.
• Ensure vehicles are repaired safely and in a way that protects company property, customer vehicles, passengers, and road users.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information, vehicle records, technical findings, repair reports, and company matters at all times.
• Maintain a professional attitude, technical accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent conduct while representing the Service Department.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, workshop rules, technical standards, quality requirements, and service center procedures.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve repair quality, diagnosis accuracy, technical efficiency, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
• Support vehicle preparation, service campaigns, inspection activities, customer complaints, urgent repairs, and VIP vehicle requirements when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong automotive electrical knowledge.
• Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Professional appearance, attitude, and conduct.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English is preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documents.
• Arabic language skills or additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, scanners, and electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and complete assigned jobs within required timelines.
• Ability to identify electrical faults, wiring issues, sensor failures, battery faults, and control system concerns.
• Good knowledge of workshop safety, electrical repair practices, job cards, inspection reports, and service documentation.
• Good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, electronic components, fault codes, diagnostic procedures, and repair standards.
• Ability to coordinate professionally with technicians, service advisors, team leaders, quality control, parts teams, and management.
• Previous experience as an Auto Electrician, Automotive Electrician, Electrical Technician, Diagnostic Electrician, or related automotive electrical role is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive electrical diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and vehicle electrical systems, preferably within dealership, premium automotive, luxury automotive, or authorized service center environments.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
• Service center-based role with daily electrical diagnosis, repair, and technical support duties.
• Rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts as required by business operations.
• Regular use of diagnostic tools, scanners, meters, wiring diagrams, job cards, inspection reports, service records, technical documents, and workshop tools.
• Continuous standing, walking, vehicle checking, electrical testing, repair work, troubleshooting, reporting, and operational coordination throughout working hours.
• Direct interaction with technicians, service advisors, team leaders, quality controllers, spare parts teams, drivers, customers, suppliers, workshop management, and external parties.
• May require extended working hours during urgent repairs, customer escalations, VIP vehicles, high service volume, technical inspections, campaigns, repeat repairs, or operational requirements.
