Job PurposeTo innovate, design, and develop advanced vehicles and transportation systems that meet safety, efficiency, and sustainability standards, while enhancing vehicle performance and the consumer driving experience.2. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Planning: Draft and design vehicle components and systems using computer-aided design software (such as CATIA or AutoCAD).Research & Development (R&D): Study and implement new technologies like autonomous driving, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and alternative energy solutions (EVs and Hydrogen).Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the build of vehicle prototypes and test them under extreme conditions (heat, crash tests, wind tunnels).Data Analysis: Use computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulation software to predict vehicle performance and analyze safety and durability test results.Technical Problem Solving: Diagnose mechanical or software failures during the development phase and create immediate engineering solutions.Quality & Cost Control: Ensure that production aligns with the specified budget and complies with global quality and environmental standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside production, procurement, and suppliers to ensure smooth manufacturing and assembly of parts.3. Requirements & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.Technical Skills:Proficiency in 3D CAD software and engineering simulation tools.Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain systems, and electrical architectures.Knowledge of programming languages and embedded systems for modern smart vehicles.Soft Skills:Strong complex problem-solving abilities and logical analysis.Excellent communication skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.4.
