Position Summary

The Automotive Interior Installer / Upholstery Technician installs, repairs, and fits leather interiors, seat covers, trim components, and other vehicle interior products while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Essential Duties

• Install leather interiors, upholstery, trim components, and related products
• Remove and reinstall vehicle interior components
• Read and follow work orders and installation instructions
• Inspect completed work for quality and fit
• Safely use hand tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete required documentation and production records
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive upholstery, trim installation, manufacturing, or related fields preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

Pay is based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability. Management will determine compensation based on qualifications and performance. Experienced installers may qualify for piece-rate opportunities that can result in weekly earnings of approximately $1,000–$1,500.
