We are looking for an Automotive Journeyman Diesel Technician / Mechanic with Diesel experience on Ram 2500 / 3500 Cummins Series Engines & Turbo & ECO Diesels to join our team.

Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Journeyman Diesel Technician; CDJR experience is strongly preferred.

Automotive Journeyman Diesel Technician Job Qualifications:

• Previous proven automotive disel technician / mechanic experience required - compensation is based on the level of experience.
• ASE Certification or other automotive certifications is a plus
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience within the automotive space
• Attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Professional demeanor and effective communication skills with customers
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Computer Skills
• Positive, friendly attitude

Automotive Journeyman Diesel Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay.
• Maintain high fixed first visit and customer satisfaction
