Automotive Lot Tech/Lot Attendant

Job Summary
Dave Arbogast Buick-GMC is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Lot Attendant to maintain the appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory. This role is essential in ensuring our dealership presents a professional, welcoming environment for customers while keeping our vehicle stock in pristine, sales-ready condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, detail, and maintain the cleanliness of new and used vehicles on the lot
• Vacuum vehicle interiors and clean windows, dashboards, and upholstery
• Apply protective treatments such as tire shine and interior protectants
• Move vehicles around the lot as needed for organization, sales, and service access
• Perform basic vehicle inspections to identify cosmetic issues or maintenance needs
• Remove trash, debris, and personal items from trade-in vehicles
• Maintain lot cleanliness, including sweeping, removing debris, and basic landscaping
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and pick-ups as needed
• Check and maintain proper fluid levels (windshield washer, etc.)
• Install accessories, license plates, and dealer decals on sold vehicles
• Document any vehicle damage or issues discovered during the cleaning process
• Support inventory management by ensuring vehicles are properly positioned and accessible

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Professional appearance and customer service mindset
• Previous automotive or detailing experience preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
