Automotive Mechanic

<Responsibilities>

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
  • Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision.
  • Diagnose complex problems related to diesel engines, powertrains, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and auto body repairs.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure repairs meet quality standards; perform welding when necessary for structural repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

<Requirements>

  • Proven mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems; dealership experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Hands-on experience repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and auto electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform wheel alignments, tire services, oil changes, shocks & struts replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of ADAS technology, auto estimating procedures, and GM vehicle systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
  • Valid automotive technician certification or mechanic license; ASE certification is desirable but not mandatory. Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to automotive excellence! Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
