Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrical components.
• Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks to keep vehicles in top condition.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, welding, and mechanical adjustments while adhering to safety standards.
• Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features and perform calibration procedures as needed.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software to ensure precise repairs.
• Maintain detailed service records, communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed or completed, and ensure high-quality customer service throughout the process.

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with brand-specific systems such as GM vehicles.
• Knowledge of diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding techniques, and automotive electrical systems is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, transmissions, wheel alignment, suspension components, shocks & struts, brake repair, and powertrain diagnostics.
• Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software to assist in accurate job costing and documentation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks. Pay: $27.61 - $33.26 per hour

Work Location: In person
