Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
• Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and suspension repairs to optimize vehicle performance.
• Service diesel engines and perform air brake repairs on applicable vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs and maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software to determine repair procedures and costs.
• Perform auto body repairs such as welding when necessary to restore vehicle integrity after damage.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed or completed.

Requirements

• Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive electrical systems.
• Familiarity with schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and repair procedures for GM vehicles or similar brands.
• Experience working with diesel engines, transmissions, wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, and suspension systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of auto estimating software and auto body repair techniques is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ASE certifications or equivalent are advantageous. Join us in delivering exceptional automotive care! Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
