Automotive Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
• Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently to keep vehicles in top condition.
• Repair and replace auto body parts when necessary, utilizing welding and other auto body repair techniques.
• Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to perform repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with GM vehicles or similar brands.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, and automotive diagnostics.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, wheel alignments, suspension systems, and tire service.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and auto body repair processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics. Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
