Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, and brakes with precision and attention to detail.
• Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service to maintain optimal performance.
• Repair or replace auto body parts and welding as needed to restore vehicle integrity and appearance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using auto estimating software; communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle’s condition and necessary services.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations while managing multiple repair orders simultaneously.

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various systems including diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive electrical systems.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands.
• Knowledge of schematics reading and diagnostics tools essential for complex troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension work (shocks & struts), auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating software.
• Familiarity with maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, air brake systems, and vehicle maintenance protocols.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
