Automotive Mechanic

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold manufacturer standards.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, welding, and component replacements with precision.
• Work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized automotive features to ensure modern vehicle functionality.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance.Requirements
• Proven mechanic experience in a automotive repair shop and/or auto repair education.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, powertrain systems, and mechanical repair techniques.
• Ability to read schematics accurately and work with vehicle maintenance manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive electrical systems.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory
• ASE certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Excellent customer service is must in our small business.
• Learning to repair tires is also main part of the job. Small business allows for everyone to wear many different hats of opportunities.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
