Job Overview:

TA Automotive is looking for exceptional general service technicians to provide outstanding tire and wheel-related services and oil changes. The general service technician at TA Automotive positively influences customer satisfaction and profitability by completing basic services in a high-quality manner.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards of quality work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform timely and accurate routine automotive maintenance.
• Oil change and fluid level checks.
• Tire maintenance, including checking condition and pressure, mounting, rotation, balancing, and installation.
• Brake inspection, installation, and repair.
• Placement of lube stickers on all serviced vehicles.
• Computerized inspection.
• Engage with customers in a courteous and friendly manner to deliver a high-quality customer service experience, including driving and returning vehicles in clean condition.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting processes and complete necessary computer and paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized shop, including your assigned workstation.
• Stay up-to-date with general automotive skills to support continuous improvement and skill development initiatives.
• Complete all repairs in an accurate and safe manner.
• Refer any technical questions to the Lead Technician, Service Manager, and Assistant Service Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to demonstrate and properly complete light to heavy repairs.

• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• 2-5+ years of automotive repair experience required.
• Clean and active driver’s license required.

Working Conditions:

Work is a fast-paced automotive service in an Indoor/Outdoor, customer-oriented environment. Physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, and moving. Must be able to lift and move up to 70lbs. The employee will use air tools and will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Must use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.

Pay: $27.29 - $43.00 per hour
