Automotive Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by performing high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, steering components, and other critical systems.
• Complete routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Repair or replace auto body components as needed, including welding and other auto body repair techniques.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems
• Ensure all work meets dealership or automotive service standards

Skills

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, diesel engine repair, and powertrain components.
• Familiarity with ADAS, air brake systems, and auto estimating software is advantageous.
• Proficiency in working with schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues.
• Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, oil change procedures, alignment services, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery safely.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
