Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicle systems while adhering to safety standards.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical issues.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
• Expertise in working with GM vehicles or similar brands is highly desirable.
• Solid mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, powertrain, suspension, alignment, and brake repair.
• Proficiency with automotive electrical systems and the use of schematics for troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair and auto estimating software is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
